Default Stephen Pitcairn's Miss Champion Autogiro

Hi Gang !!! Does anyone know of, or own a video tape with Stephen Pitcairn's restored Miss Champion Autogiro ?? I have never seen anything about the restoration on TV and was wondering if a show had been produced. Seems that such a rare and unusual aircraft should have been documented on video. Thanx for your help. Charlie Anderson

Charlie,
It's in Oshkosh, Wis. now. They may have some video of it.. I took some pictures years ago when it was there. It was late getting to Oshkosh this year and did not arrive until after Oshkosh.

You might also check with the American Helicopter Museum's library. If I remember correctly (I visited in 2003), Miss Champion was flown to a few of their open houses (rotorfest) in years prior. Someone there should have some video ( I would hope). FYI, They also have beautifully restored PCA-1.

Also here is the link to the EAA site with the details on Miss Champion. Which was donated to the EAA Museum.

Has anyone build a flying model of the PCA2 autogiro?

I know of a couple but have not seen any fly. I seen one in Scale modeler a few years back and understand that someone had one on the East coast at a model meet last year but it crashed. I would like to do one and it should fly good.
