Default Question regarding Super Turbo

Ok, I am excited now!!

Just ordered the Dymond Super Turbo with all the bells and whistles from rcaccessory.com (Mr. Chapkis) and can't wait for it to come in, so I can see just how bad of shape my batteries are in...

One question though. Will I need to cut the diode on my Futaba 8u so that I can charge the battery while inside the transmitter?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You don't "cut the diode" but rather jumper it with either a pico fuse or a single strand of servo wire.

Instructions may be seen at:

Oh yeah, I suppose cutting would be a bad idea...
