Default Hyperion EOS720i problems

So Ive been using this charger intermitantly for the past 8 months or so. It has worked flawless untill a few days ago.
So I hooked everything up as usual this time during the charge cycle it beeps and then the display indicates there is a connection error. I have not been able to narrow it down to the battery, charger or the adaptor board.
Any of you guys using this charger seen anything like this?
I am running a mix of hyperion and eflight batteries. So far only the hyperions are showing this. But the funny thing is both packs are doing it from time to time.
Perhaps this is the board that is the problem?

How do the connectors on your batteries look? Over time, they can get dirty and/or worn (from that arc when hooking to an ESC).<div></div><div>Can you try charging without the balancer hookup? Maybe in balance mode, there is a bad balancer connection/wires/faulty circuits which is keeping the charger from starting. I don't have this charger, so I'm not sure if it will let you do that.
<div></div><div>You could also hook the battery to the charger and then slightly pull the banana plugs out of the charger a tiny bit so that they are still plugged in, but enough so you can measure the voltage with a meter right at that point. If you have voltage there, the problem has to be the charger itself or balancing circuit.</div></div>

thanks for the reply. I think the error has been narrowed down to the battery adaptor.
I have a new one on the way.
