Default Progressive RC

I ordered a charger and power supply combo from Progressive RC, thier web site showed being in stock. I paid for the items. I called yesterday to follow-up, as I had not heard from them. They said the items were back ordered and they were waiting on a shipment. I looked today and these items are still showing in stock.

Has anyone had any problems with this company? I've never done business with them prior to this but so far I'm not impressed.

I've used them. My first inclination is that while they aren't real swift about tying actual stock levels to the web site, they aren't shady just knuckleheads and you'll likely get your stuff.

Thanks. I spoke with them and tried to upgrade to another charger that they had listed and they were out of stock also.

To update the update, the power supply - charger combo arrived yesterday. The power supply does not work. The switch is bad and you can see where somebody has had the body apart and put it back together. The cover was mis-aligned and had loose screws. Progressive did jump right on it and has already sent the replacment. They asked that I send the old one back at my convienence and I guess my expense. He did say that they were aware of the switch issues on this particular unit.

So I guess you can draw your own conclusion about this company, but for me, I'm done with them.

To update, the update of the update, I have avoided purchases in the past based on feedback that I have read here on RCU, thats why I'm sharing this issue. Hopefully it will help someone else in the future. Progressive RC sent a replacement power supply to me right away. I received it today....Same problem as the first!!! Broken switch right out of the box. Yes, after them telling me they knew there were issues, I still stuck with the same unit. They did send the replacement unit before I shipped the first one back so I guess that was decent of them. I now have 2 bad power supplies.

Stay away from this particular power supply. Buy cheap, cry twice.

You think they would have check out the second one before shilpping it. I think I would have to tell Progressive RC to send me the funds to ship both power supplies back if they want them.
