quick question on battery temp
Is 141F after completion of charging too hot for a NiMH battery?
I should probably add 2000mah charged at 2 amps for 72 minutes.

Yes, a little bit. If it's a hearty power batt then it is undamaged. If it's a long skinny radio batt then it may be slightly damaged. I like to see 120-125 MAX , but have seen 150-200 plenty of times.
