Product Information Overload...Need SME Input
Greeting All,
Purchased the Redcat Rockslide RS10 XT 1/10 Scale Crawler today as a Xmas gift for my son. Iam looking to top-off the gift with additional batteries; upgrade themAh oomph. Link to the Redcat website is http://www.redcatracing.com/RC-Cars/Rock-Crawlers/Rockslide-RS10-XT-1-10-Scale-Crawler24_2.
Website statesthe battery is a 7.2v 1800mAh Included with Charger. Ibelieve the stock NiMH battery has a tamiya connector.
Questions:
1) What is areliable brand for 7.2v NiMH batteries with a tamiya connector?
2) What is a good best bang for the buck recharger?
3) Any ideasif this crawler can use batteriesother than NiMH? (onlyinterested in battieries better thanNiMH)
Primary purposeis to purchase a reliable battery that willincrease crawler run time.
Your input will be greatly appriciated!

RE: Product Information Overload...Need SME Input
Hi, I would use a lipo battery- much larger capacity for the same weight and much slower discharge- you could charge and leave for a month
2ce lipo but you will need a charger...
