I am a beginner in rc cars and i am having issues with my son's car. We have a dynamite prophet sport plus charger dync2010. We are trying to charge a venom 5000 25c lipo battery. It says to charge it at a 1c 5a rate. I set the charger to 5a but it won't charge. I get the error code saying that battery failure cannot charge battery at selected charge current. I don't understand. Thanks for the help.

Sounds to me like tthe charger or battery is defective; maybe a disconnected cell in the battery. If you registered for Atomik/Venom's Warranty, you should get a free replacement if you send it in. If you can prove to them that the battery isn't working via video, they will send you a new one, no questions asked. Provided if it is under 12 months old.
