Default Icharger temp problemsarge

My icharger 308duo when I plug it in is reading temps of 260 degrees F'. That is with nothing plugged in at all. If I try to charge it says exceed safe temp range. Keep in mind it is not hot at all.

my guess a faulty component in the charger. I'd return it to get fixed or replaced.
