Default Battery Alarms Continuous or single warning?

Hi all. New to this hobby and page and having a blast. I have a new car with a 7.6 v Lipo battery and have put a voltage alarm on it.

What I'm wondering is when the alarm goes off is it a one time warning or continuous? My car was maybe 150 feet away when I think it went off so I shut down immediately, but it was far enough away that I wasn't really sure.

I did some googling before posting and can't figure out if you get just one warning or if it's a continuous alarm once it falls below the preset threshold.

I know there are different models of alarms, but they all look they are designed pretty similarly.

Thx!
