Default Help!!!!

First post... Welcome I know ... LOL

And I need help... Right ask for help no contributions and I start out with asking for help ....

but I am running out of time for Christmas and I need help so here it goes

3 things I need help with ASAP

1. Lipo's for 2 calderas 10e for my two older kids. Don't need the fastest thing around but fare priced, cool running, and long running... From what I read ace 4000 40c 2s?
Which are the same one as the roar approved? But half price?

2. Both cars are stock and have held up great for u haters, well excepts the steering hub thing the bottom screw rattles out so second question, do I need any additional parts to the ? MPO - 003 is it? Aluminum steering hub?

3. So then I need a charger.. Right... I know now nothing about them but I bough the oldest boy a modded out NQD tear into it that is running a 11.1V lipo then the caldera's will be running 7.4 lipo's

so a I need a affordable Maybe dual/double charger that can charger it all from both ac/dc aka 12v like from car in camping trips

links to to where and who to buy is really appreciated
I was into this years ago you the grass hopper hornet days now I am old and gray...

hoping maybe i be I and my three boys can find something other than videos games we can share

thanks guys....

Welcome to RCU.

So you need more info on some things. After you order the LiPo batteries and charger(s) I would look at/familiarize yourself (and kids) how to properly use the chargers with LiPo packs...http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-car-general-discussions-179/9346308-rc-resources-beginner-read-first.html

I am sure someone will jump in here with some help...I gotta go to work. In the meantime, check out SMC and SPC Racing Batteries.

They have been a favorite be many over the years.

Chargers...I've seen sooo many brands using the same iMax B6AC 80 watt 10 amp platform. Whether on eBay or hobby stores on the web... I'm gonna put up pictures here and I am willing to bet all of the chargers are using the same PC boards; they have 99% the same specs just different shells, and or buttons. I have three of them (one for a spare, but haven't had to use it yet) and they all have the same way of adjusting the settings (program flow chart). I know two of the chargers shown have the same PC 'cause I opened up two of them to repair/solder. My mistake of inserting a balancing cord backwards thus melted a circuit joint on the circuit board. You can go on eBay and type in AC680 or B6AC 80watt ...pay anything from $34 ~ $93 or go hobby site and pay somewhere in the middle for the same thing.

I'll probably get flack for saying all this and is only my opinion from past usage of the chargers and searching for the best deals.
I'm surprised nobody has jumped in here. So....the above is from another thread. I have three of the B6AC 80W chargers. I have one tucked away as a spare somewhere. I would call my chargers re-branded, re-copied something of the iMax charger line. They are about as low budget as you can get. For the past few years they do what I need them to do, and they do it well. If I were to charge anything above 3S LiPos, I probably get something with a bit more power.

I normally don't look at lower budget dual chargers, 'cause I fear one "side" of the charger will crap out somehow...leaving me with a single charger anyway. This is why I buy multiple chargers.

But a fellow RCUer has posted a dual charger that has promising specs that may fit your needs...Thread: My New Favorite Charger
