Hobbico MKII Field Charger
i was wondering if this charger came with alligator clips or banana plugs because i really want a charger i can hook up to my cars battery so i dont have to use my flight box battery. if it does come with banana plugs instead of clips how hard would it be to change them.

Can you solder? If so, it's easy.
If you can't, unless radio shack sells banana plugs that use a set screw to lock down the wire to the plug, I think you may need to find a friend with a soldering iron.

RE: Hobbico MKII Field Charger
I guess I should add: I know that the Sirius and Ace work identical. I also know that they both condition the battery while it is doing its magic. So, does the MKII have any magic in it that conditions the battery or ??????. Thanks for the help. Just trying to see if spending the extra 20 to 70 dollars is worth it.

RE: Hobbico MKII Field Charger
For what its worth I went through the same thing this summer. I stopped using my old Ace FFC because it was hard on smaller ( < 300 mah) packs and didn't work with NiHMs. I ruled out the Hobbico because of the conditioning feature of the Sirius and Ace chargers and ended up buying thenew ACE Supersmart, which sells for $70.00 at Radical RC, a full $50.00 cheaper then the Sirius.
