Default Voltmeter ???

I would like to know what volt reading I should look for on my digital meter when charging my 7.2V 1500 stick pack and my 6V 600 RX packs. The meter is plugged into the voltmeter taps on my timer charger. It ouputs 1.5, 3.5 or 6.5volts selectable. These above packs are all nicad. I would like to know what to watch for on my meter to know they are fully charged.

Thanks

It's my understanding that you shoulg get 7.2v (on a 7.2v pack) or maybe even more when fully charged. It's usually in a range of some sort. Example: 7.2-7.4 or something like that. When drained you can get something like 4.2 Just remember, the only real way to check the battery is under a load, so in your charger is a good way. (That is how I also chekc mine.) I hope this helps.

I get about 6.8-7.0 volts on my 5 cell pack. I don't have a 6 cell pack.
