Default simple battery question for R/C cars

Just a quick question that is real basic...

I have an RC10-T3 rtr RC truck by Team Associated. I also have a 7 cell battery pack by trinity that is a 1700. Anyway, I always have used 1500 sport packs that are only 6cells...is it ok to use the 7 cell battery with my truck?

Thanks

Look in the truck's specs to see if your speed control can handle the extra voltage and current.

Default difference

The mah capacity will be fine whether 1200, 1700, 2400 or 3000 etc. In most cases the extra voltage and amperage of running a 7 cell pack will also be fine, but depends on your speed control and motor capacities.
