my Radio and reciever packs are not holding a charge. I figured as much since they have been sitting unused for 2 years.

so my question is,

1. What batterys should I replace them with? (stock nicads, lipoly or what)

2. Where is the best place to get batteries?

I need new battery packs for a Futaba 8UAP radio and matching receive (the one that came with the radio)
I know the radio pack is a 9.6 volt 600 mah pack but without digging into my plane I cant tell you what the receiver pack is other than it is wwhat came with the radio and reciever when bought new.

Please help cause I am clueless on this whole battery thing.

I don't know what servos or plane that you have but I would recommend you contacting Dave at www.radicalrc.com and get a 1400maH AA pack for your transmitter and one for your receiver.
