Default LI-ion and memory effect

I have a little question: Do li-ions have memory effect at all??
I not, how come so many mobiles have troubles with a bad battery, one that discharges in a couple hours when turned on??

Hi Barto,

Lithium Ion have no memory, however they do have a cycle life. Once this cycle life is met and/or approached one will noticed reduced capacity and voltage.

None of the battery chemistries have memory.

Each battery type has its pros and cons.
How you treat your battery will determine how long it will last.
