Default Safe to use Schulze 6-330d with EVO 9?

I recently bought the highly regarded Schulze 6-330d charger. The 2nd output is capable of maximum of 500mA and 6 cells only. I use this output to charge the EVO.

This is what my EVO 9 manual say about 12 volt DC charger : "Charger for more than 8 cells need voltage converters producing high voltages, which can damage the transmitter electronics"

Am I safe to use Schulze with EVO?
