Charging basics! PEOPLE REQUIRED for INFO
Hello,
I have looking around the forums for some information on charging/discharging different types of cells, now what i have noticed is all the information seems to be scattered all over the place.
If anyone has some information on general rules etc for charging cells of different types that would be greatly appreciated.
Im sort of looking for What to Do and What Not to Do.
Also if there are any sites out there that are good for this sort of info as well?
Just thought it may help those people like me that have little experience with charging in general.

Generally speaking, NiCd and NiMh should be charged at C/10 (capacity divided by 10) charge rates. i.e. a 2000mah battery should be charged at 200mah. They can be charged faster, but you can't go wrong using this charge rate. It's a "plug them in the night before you go flying" rate.
LiPo and LiOn should be charged with chargers specifically made for that type of cell.
Definitely check out the site Raj put up. Red's site is the bible for batteries.
