howdy all,
I'm looking to get a new glowstarter after my cheap-*****
Dynamite Starter broke.

I've been eyeing a Magnum 4000maH rechargeable D-Cell heater,
but I recall reading somewhere (probably this forum) that high
capacity rechargeables begin having trouble pushing out current
once they've reached a certain point. Is this D-cell reaching that limit?
What about something like this [link=http://www.thomas-distributing.com/mh-2d110.htm]11,000mah MAHA Powerex cell[/link][X(]

I bought a 4400 mah d cell and a clip with alligator clips. Cut the clips and solder to the batt. Once cycled a few times to reach max charge it will last a long long time.![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I cycled mine twice this sumer just to see how much was left. Probably would have lasted all summer on one charge.
