Hi all, I wouldlike to ask if there is a web page or even literature on how to construct baterry packs? I would like to learn how to contruct my own batteries, I will be using them on Helis, Planes and R/C Cars as well. Any information that you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I would also like to ask where to purchase all that I would need to construct the battery packs.

Personally I'd rather buy quality asssembled packs from
http://radicalrc.secure-mall.com/sho...17&cart=338716
or NBS batteries

Unless you can solder well you run the risk of melting the seal from overheating the battery. Learn to solder on dead cells. The key to soldering well is a clean well tinned soldering tip on a good iron. My 60 watt Weller is temperature controlled and sold for $125 15 years ago. Everyone goes on and on about cleaning the batterys and the braid or brass strips, using 60/40 rosin core solder but unless the iron tip is tinned with solder to transfer the heat efficiently you'll put too much heat into the joint and ruin the battery. 5 seconds max per joint.
