Proper power configuration?
About to begin a new project. Will build a Dave Patrick 300L with 8 digital servos...5 8411s and 3 811s. Question arises about having ample electrical power (for at least an afternoon of flying) being delivered to these servos. I understand digitals like to gobble up the juice.
Was thinking about 1800mh nicads at 4.8 volts. Not sure what this will do for me but it is a simple solution, if it is adequate. Others have suggested a more "involved" solution by using Duralites (of which I have no experience) with a voltage regulator of sorts.(?) How big a battery...what about regulator...will an Accucycler Plus be okay for recharging?
Would appreciate any guidance from forum members. Thanks, in advance!
