Default Peak detection sensitivity

On my charger, I can adjust the peak detection sensitivity between 3mv and 15mv. Default is 8mv. For those in the know, what happens if I move the sensitivity detection closer to 3mv or closer to 15mv.

Thanks.

moving closer to 3 mv will terminate charge slightly earlier. 15 will go slightly longer.

Depending on what types of batts and your charging rate, setting the sensitivity too high (15) could make it so that the charger will never sense a peak, and can overcharge and damage your batts.

For Nimh i use a peak of 5mV. I don't have any Nicads, but i think 8-10 is a good range for them. (Someone correct me if i'm wrong.)
