Expanded Scale voltmeter

Check out these two from Maxx products. I'm not aware of any with a 2 amp load, 300 to 500 ma. is appropriate for radio batteries.

My Feedback: (20)
I'm looking for a voltmeter that will allow me to input a load on the battery up to 1.5 to 2 amps. I have installed super high torque digital servos and measured the amperage using a watt meter while on the bench and the load reached 1.2 amps. A 500 ma loads does not give me a true reading of where my battery voltage is before flight.
Thanks
Jeff

Try the Pro ESV from Radio South. Will give .5, 1 and 1.5 amp load for up to 20 cells. I just bought one at Toledo and it is pretty nice unit.

Consider the Futaba voltmeter as well. I think it loads the pack with 3 Amps for a couple of seconds and display the voltage.
It showed me that my switch was getting bad as the voltage drop before and after the switch was substential.
It takes a while to get adjusted to using it because the reading is lower than with the traditional 300mA, but once you stop freaking out when you read 5.8V after just one flight (on a 6V battery), you know that you're OK.
