Anyone have experience here? Aside from the consistant backlog of orders, is there any influence out there...positive or negative?

excellent unit, crummy internal build quality, 8+ month leadtime, many
choices of charging/discharging.

Max output is 1A distributed over its 4 channels so if you want a 'fast'
charger for high output packs, this aint it.

I had one. Sold it and got an Orbit instead.

Agree with the above comments, I have one and still find it is a valuable part of my battery equipment. I would suggest you examine your battery charger/cycler requirements and compare them with the Litco's capabilities. Chances are you will find it unsuatable for what you are looking for. I still use mine, but more for cycling/testing than anything else. I supplement the inadeqaucy of the Litco with several Sirius chargers.

I agree w/ Vince. I just couldn't justify having it in my 'stable' of chargers
and given its value on the open market, I was able to sell it and
buy an Orbit and pocket the difference.

I do back it (the Orbit) w/ a Sirius. That pretty much fits my needs.

I am not familiar with the Orbit unit, can you post a link to it, or give some specs.

Thanks

the least expensive places are radicalrc.com or icare-rc.com

All the other places (like shredair.com) are waaay overpriced.

Hi howardm4

I am a little confuse in what to buy. I am looking for the best charger/discharger in the market. Taking advantage of your experience, let me know: LITCO Alpha 4 or SIRIUS SuperTurbo or FMA SUPERNOVA 250S Fast Cycler or Orbit MICROLADER.

Thanks,
wuate

Your asking a Ford/Chevy question. What is best is in the eye of the beholder. They each hvae their own set of pluses and minuses.

Figure out what features are important to you and
seek them out

If you decide you must have more than 1
channel then that changes your choices.

If you want to fastcharge big packs, that
takes the Litco out of the equation.

If you want to discharge, that removes the
Sirius.

You might end up w/ more than one unit.
