Default Battery pack question

I'm looking into building battery packs, I've noticed all the pre-builts you can buy online say 8c, 10c, etc. When I go to build a battery pack (AA's) how will I know how many "c"'s it will be? Thanks!

Default RE: Battery pack question

the c is probably refering to the number of cells and each one is 1.2 nominal volts.

Lots of cars/trucks use a 6 cell and transmitters use a 8 cell.
