Default Batts for E-Savage

I'm looking into the new HPI Nitro E-Savage and wondering what type of batts I should be considering. Im looking mainly into longer run times.
Thnx

Default RE: Batts for E-Savage

Get batteries with higher voltage and mAh capacities. Try 3600mah, 3800mah 7.2volt 6-pack batteries. Normally, you could get a pair of 4300mAh 8.4v batteries, but, with the new E-Savage undercarriage battery holder's, I am not sure if you can store 7-cell battery packs there. I have ordered a E-Savage, but, My machine shop source is not done with upgrading it yet. I am installing an upgraded aluminum motor plate to handle a pair of 700 short can motors. Also changing out the factory ESC for a Novak Super Duty unit. I will let you know how it works out, once I get my truck delivered to me... Yipee...
