Default Scared & P!553d

I had to buy a TP 1320 Li-Po from my LHS and it was one where I had to solder the connector my self. Since this was going on my Blade CP I got one of those JST/JSP connectors and solder it on. Even back then I wasnt happy with the idea of having to do it myself but It worked. Today I was attaching the battery velcro part to the Blade CP velcro part ( I had'nt hooked up the battery to the 4-in-1 yet) and there was a sudden spurt of flame from the tip of the battery part of the connector, I freaked out and yanked the battery out and tossed it on the lawn. Later when I examined it I came to this conclusion. it looks like the metal retainer clip of the connectors had been sticking out high enough(due to repeated plugging and unplugging) to where they made contact with the body of the Blade CP and shorted. WHat are my options of getting some sort of replacement with Thunder Power ? These are expensive battaries and I am afraid to use this one again
