Accucycle Elite
Is there a method to bypass the timer on the Elite charger-I am charging Hydramax batteries for the first time-the manufacture is asking for a 150mah charge for 16 hours and the charger times out at 999 minutes-anyone know a fix or workaround, or it could be me -I am having a hard time understanding this charger and the instructions -thanks for your help in advance

RE: Accucycle Elite
Here is a thread that explains how to manipulate the charger for what you want

RE: Accucycle Elite
But Geistware, shouldn't the Accucycle Elite charger be able to detect if the battery is full (if you try to charge a fully charged battery)? It seems, it has the capability to do so based on some reviews....
Also, (not trying to start a war here...) do you recommend the accucycle elite charger as a good all-around charger? I am just getting into RC flying and I am starting with electric/park flyers. My understanding was that the accucycle elite was really intended more for Tx/Rx batteries (in larger planes)...
Thanks.

RE: Accucycle Elite
Thanks BarracudaHockey....that convinced me. I think I will go ahead and buy the Accucyle Elite soon. I was looking for a charger that is simple to use, capable of handling AC/DC input, and able to expand with my needs as I get more involved in this hobby. It sounds like the kind of charger I was looking for.

RE: Accucycle Elite
Look at what he is saying.
He wants to charge a 1650 or larger pack at 150ma for 16 hours or more.
The safety feature of the charger will auto shut off at 150%
He wants to put in 1650/150*16 or 176%
Now he is upset because the auto shutoff works.
You can't have it both ways.
Since the auto shutoff is fixed, then tell the charger that the pack is bigger.
