Default Charging Lipos

Hello Friends,

I have a great planes electrifly lipo charger and when charging a 2 cell the light blinks green 2 times and when charging a 3 cell the green light blinks 3 times. Well I have a three cell that got ran down and I got it back up enough to charge it but it is reading as a 2 cell when charging. Does anyone know why this is? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default RE: Charging Lipos

It could be that the voltage is still with 2 cell specs (too low for 3 cells) and it may have all 3 cells pulled down too low or it may have just 1 cell low and the other 2 ok. Either way I would recommend stopping and checking each cell voltage to see if your playing with fire or not. Continuing to charge may or may not be very fun.

Hopefully it has balance tap on it to check each cell.
