Default Question for the li-po geniouses

Alright li-po geniouses, I have a question for you. I have now have two identical 10c 11.1v 1800mah li-po packs (same brand). My question is, what is the easiest and safest way to parallel wires these boys. Can you simply buy or build a y-harness or is there some better, safer way out there(I've seen some kind of board you hook them too and have heard about hooking both batteries into the rx). Also, if you did this would it drop the discharge rate, and if so are there any additional implications I need to consider with other electronics (such as the esc cutting off at an inncorrect voltage/time)Thanks!

Yes you can parallel them with a y harness but you should be sure that the 2 voltages are within .1V or.2V of each other measured with a digital multimeter. They should be both fully charged. They make a y harness for putting them in parallel or in series.
I am assuming that you are looking for a flight time equal to 3600MA 'cuz that's what it does.

I also have a loop harness to connect my 2 7.4V 4000ma packs is series to get 14.8V at 4000ma.
I bought them at the i-hobby show near Chicago.

This may work too (not in stock yet):

And for those who want to take two 2S packs to make a 4S pack:

When parallel wiring, do I need to consider any problems or cautions it may have on the ESC or any other electronics? I've heard something about when you parallel wire it messes with the esc so it cuts off at the wrong volatage and you end up discharging your packs too low and it ruins them. Any info on the accuracy of that would be great! Thanks!

No problem with parallel wiring. The situation you're describing is much more likely with serial wired packs.
