This website will answer lots of questions for you.
http://www.electrifly.com/manuals/gp...anual-v1_1.pdf
The above site will give you the entire "new and improved" instruction manual for operating the Great Planes Triton charger/cycler. Page 27 of the manual is a chart of recomended charge rates for many differen size and type of battery packs. It gives rates for slow, and fast charge as well as discharge rates. I have found it to be indispensible. I have printed up a copy and stuck it on the wall over my work bench. Although the entire manual is good reading, you can, if you like, elect to print just the single page of charge rate info'.
I hope you find this to be helpful.
Enjoy.

Dymond Turbo
Nicds - charge up to 3 times the capcity.
Nimh - up to twicwe the capacity.
However the lower the rate the less of a hard time youre giving the cells.
The dymond turbo charger has an auto mode where it will check the internal resistance of a cell and adjust the rate accordingly so cells like the rc 2400 will accept a high charge rate as it has a low internal resistance ( at up to 5a) whereas a 300 mah cell it may only charge a 300mah
