Well, being lazy, I left my 1600mah 6.0v Team Orion Nimh 5 cell hump in the bat box on my gt2 and charged it. it took about 30 minutes or so to get from whatever it was at to full charge using my Prophet charger at 1 amp rate. Today, i decided to open the bat box since i was cleaning everything after a good run on my track during some lightish rain and checked the hump. The bottom where the cells touched the bottom of the box was burned, the outside shrinkwrap stuff was charred away so the shrinkwrap underneath was visible, and anywhere else the battery touched the box was a little less burned. now im worried that i ruined the cells but i want to hear from other people and whether i should replace the pack or not.
