I just bought a 9.6v 1000mAh battery (8 batteries) with a Multiplex 810 WWC charger. I had to change the connector on the charger to a female Tamiya connector but wasnt 100% sure which was + and -. The wires were like a co-ax type so i connected the white internal wire to the round female side of the connector and the outer wire to the square side of the connector. I checked with a multimeter and it seemed ok. The lights on the charger appear to indicate charging and there are no error lights but even after 7-8 hours the battery only gets to about 1v which it promptly loses. Any ideas appreciated as i dont know where the problem lies so not sure which item to get a refund on! Cheers

the round one should be negative and the square one should be positive on the tamiya, as far as that particular charger, I really have no idea which one is positive and which one is negative. If it took your pack down to 1v (what was it when it started), honestly it sounds like the connector may well be reversed. i dunno either if that charger has reverse polarity protection or anything like that either.
