Hi
Anyone had a try with this new pack?
I want to use it in my Fundango,
where weight is a cruisal factor.
What RPM to expect with a speed 480bb motor
Gear 1:3.3 and APC 10X7?

I am much impressed with them. I use an 8 cell pack in my MiniAC 1215/16 geared Swithchback 3D. I have also used the pack in my 54" w/s geared S400 powered Aeronca Champ. They seem at least as good as my nicad 500AR's
I have heard that the KAN 950's should work somewhat better with my brushless outfit, voltage is supposed to stay higher longer.
It remains to be seen how long these cells will retain their punch. I have a lot of small NiMh packs that have much diminished capacity/punch.

HeCells are good to 15-16 amps, after which they deliver unaccetably low voltage.
KAN's are supposed to be good to about 20.

Actually, after running the numbers, the HE's should be fine.
Motocalc is saying 5899 static rpm at the prop, drawing 14.5A, and outputing 16 oz of static thrust.
