Default Monitoring LiPo discharge voltage

I am thinking about moving over to LiPo and have a question: I have read how you must monitor the voltage carefully with LiPo and the voltage should not go less than 3.0V per cell. But how do you typically monitor this during racing? Do you mount a small voltmeter on the vehicle or something like that?

Thanks.

Gday. Usually you programme the esc to what you would like the Low Voltage Count to be. They can be programmed by the transmitter, usb keys or cards. I prefer the cards as they are simple and quick. Usually 2.7 and up to about 3.0v.
You can get buzzer warning systems that you wire between battery wires etc, but i found them to be pretty inaudible and useless.

Lowest cost metod is to time usage then recharge an see how much put back in.
Best is 80% rule do not discharge below 80% and pack will last a lot longer.
