Default Super-nova Question

A friend of mine gave me an Apex 7 amp AC to DC power supply to use with my Super Nova charger. After I got it all hooked up and plugged it into the wall I got an overvoltage warning on the Super Nova. I checked the output voltage of the Power supply and it was putting out just over 15 volts. Any ideas on how I can reduce the voltage? I have thought about resistors and even using 12 volt auto lightbulbs to draw some of the volts but I have not tried it yet. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

I have no experience with this problem or the PS in question. I can however advise on placing the resistor or bulb in series in the +lead coming from the PS. Placing the resistive item in parallel will only lower the current as voltage remains the same in parallel circuits and is additive in series circuits.
