All,
I just received a new 1100 mah nicad pack for my tx.
It needs to have the formation charge done to it, but I just realized my wall charger that came with my radio has an output of 65 mah and not the 100 mah reccommended.
My question is will it hurt the pack to do this initial charge at the reduced rate of 65 mah? I would think it would be ok, it would just need to be on the charger for a little longer to get a full charge.
Let me know.

You are correct. You will not hurt the pack by form charging at a reduced rate.
A "standard" form charge would be C/10 for 14-16 hrs. In your case, C/10 = 1100/10 = 110mah output. You can do your form charge at less than C/10...just don't do it above C/10. Your 65mah wall charger is approximately "C/17" and will be perfectly fine to form charge your new pack...just be sure to leave it on long enough...25.5 hours would the target, with an acceptable range of 24-27 hrs.
