Default Hyperion EOS5I Discharge Help

I've got a new 6V 2700 NiNH pack that I slow charged for 24 hours at 100ma and was trying to discharge it so I could cycle it a few times to check on capacity. On the charger discharge menu I have it set up for discharge,.05amp rate and for 6 volt. It cuts off right away. Seems pretty straight foward but doesn't make sense. Any Ideas. Thanks Mike

What is the actual voltage? (vs. the cut-off) It could be either dead empty or has a bad cell , connection, ect.

Its reading over 8 volts. I guess what I'm asking is what voltage do I want to discharge down too. I figured this thing would be smarter than me But I guess not. Thanks Mike

The cut-off for your low rate discharge on 5 cells can be about 5 volts , if it reads 8 volts at start and then reaches the 5 volt cut-off right away then 1 or more cells is dead.

Thanks just goofing around with it I found and Charge discharge setting. I'm discharging at .30 that's a low at it will go and then .50 charge rate. I guess If I would have looked at the manual it would have saved time. I fly mostly Li Pos and Just getting some of my gas and glow stuff set up with new batteries. Figured a formation was in order with new packs. thanks Mike
