quick question

Default quick question

What is the max amps Ican run through 22awg wire and a futaba j connector? The reason Iask is Irecently bought a good charger, no more wall warts for me, and Iforgot to get a charge lead with the j connector on the end, but I happen to have a bec to j connector from something else and some extra banana plugs.

From what I find on google it can handle about 5-7 amps.

Just keep an eye on the wire if it starts getting hot to the touch your pushing to many amps through it.

You will see they recommend a max of 0.92 amps if used for power transmission, 7 amps for chassis wiring.

BUT !  i would not put over 2 amps though a J connector. Yes the wire is good for over 5 amps the poor little connector and it's crimp will start to get warm and soon will fail over time.  Just be aware that this will be the failure point. when it occurs.
