Can NiCd and NiMh battery packs, same cell count, but different capacities ( 1400 & 1650 mah ), be used in parallel in a battery back up system ?
Each pack would be charged seperately of course.

Thanks Red, it's good to get the correct answer from the best authority available ! 
And yes, I would use the same system shown in your sketch on the Battery Clinic. It's the only one that I ever use for all of my birds.
