Connector safety covers
I posted this on a couple other forums but it seems people are just not interested in this idea. Now I know the chance of a short is pretty unlikely but why take a chance.
Here's a couple pics of what I made. I wont post my method unless alot of members are interested in this. Just don't want to waste server space.

RE: Connector safety covers
I'm a proponent of covers. Did you mold those with that dipping plastic? I've been using two methods: For my bullet connectors I use inexpensive thread protectors from the hardware store. They're like rubber caps. For my deans, I've been buying special rubber caps that are purpose built called Battery Buddies. They're a perfect fit, but at a buck a piece they can get expensive... I have a lot of batteries.

Thisstrangengine,
Looking at 1 of your pics of the batteries - you have the cover on the connector but it looks like you have the male one on the (top) battery lead, or is it just die silhoutte of the femaleone?
Caps are a good safe practice, especially with high energy lipo's. I cap alsomy glow igniters andhandheld RPM counter toprevent dirt and damage.

As long as you put female plugs on the batteries I don't see much chance of them shorting out, but I guess better safe than sorry. If it gives you piece of mind, then carry on.

I also use caps on Deans to indicate "ready" and "storage" by color.
