Default Astro Blinky and E-Flite LIPO

I just got a Astro Blinky and when I plug it to my 3S eflie 1800 Mah Battery it only shows 2 LEDs on... I follow the instructions and I try to do a slow charge at .01 amp with my Onyx and I can not get the 3rd LED to come on or even blink....

Any ideas?

TIA!

Was that pack discharged below 3V/cell?

Can you try this Blinky with another pack? Or better measure the actual voltage at each of the balancing ports there might be a bad contact somewhere. The total voltage of the pack should be a good 11.4 volt(wich is the storage voltage for Lipo) and each port should read at least 3.7V.

Maybe the voltage of the 3rd cell has been sent to /dev/null?

Seriously, check the voltage of the 3rd cell. The LED on Blinky has a threshold voltage of 3.2v. Below the value, the LED is off and you should charge the pack at 100 ma (0.1A) to boost the voltage.

0.01A(10mA) is too low.
when you buy a pack, generally it is 50% charged.(storage mode)
50%*1800mah=900mah
900ma/10ma=90hour charge time!!!!!
charge with higher rates. 0.5 to 1A

I should have mention that I did charge it with the E-Flite Charger before I checked it.
Now I did the 0.01 Amps and did not work but I think is because I still had it a 1800Mah.... Now I lowered it to 100Mah and got the 3 LED to come on.
We are back in business!

Thanks all for the help!
