Hey guys yesterday I took off the covering from the trailing edge of my Starfire's ailerons to add more wood, so I can spin faster, but the wood sucked al the CA, I also want to enlarge the rudder, what glue can I use for this???

CA can be used, but use the one that has a slower cure. Or if you really have patience and is ready to expend lots but also get a strong joint epoxy will do.
To increase the roll rate increasing the deflections will work too without having to mod the plane. I did this to my trainer and it really improved. 1/2 more throw at the aileron the the roll rate doubled.
Also, sometimes it may be better to build another aileron or rudder to the spec you want.
Hope this helps....

Some things to consider-
The ailerons aren't going to speed up your spin rate...
If you've got the throws maxed out and still need more, you're ready for another airplane.
Adding to the ailerons will move your CG forward since the wing chord increases. You will need to move some weight to the tail...
Heavy ailerons because of added wood and glue will all contribute to the causes of flutter. Make sure the control linkage is TIGHT.
Aren't the ailerons on that airplane tapered? How can you glue wood onto a 1/16 inch TE?

Also, if you've already applied CA to the wood, you can't add more after the fact. CA 'wicks' into the wood (as you already found), and once it's been saturated the next attempt is not going to bond.
Adding wood to most control surfaces isn't all that good an idea anyway. It's very difficult to get the surface to come out flat and the joint is likely to fail unless perfect.
As has already been mentioned; have you increased the throws of the existing controls to maximum? If you have and this really is something you 'need' to do, buy some balsa stock and make new ones.
Just my pinion.

From: panama,
I did this mod to a StarFire 40 once. I was given to me by a friend, the plane had no ailerons and was missing a couple of other things. I made new 1 1/4 inches ailerons from balsa and it worked out great, don't know if it was better or worse cause I had never flown this plane when new.
