Does anyone have a set of plans for the the old "Great
Planes Trainer Sixty"? Or maybe a kit? Its's a great trainer and I'd like to build one for my nephew.

Thx. in advance
Paul

A similar plane I belive is the "Krafty 60" from www.bridiairplanes.com. If I remember correctly both were Joe Bridi designs.

Jim I think your right! I wasn't sure about wingspan and tail moment. Trainer sixty has
a 65 inch span if memory serves.

Here is my Krafty 60... After I slipped with the exacto, it ended up low wing with retracts and flaps

However, it is a great flying airplane.. Very happy with a Saito 91 on the front.

From the looks of your avatar, you must have been a Bosn's Mate, and or a Coxswain ?

No, actually, I was an ET, retired as CWO4. I had a lot of time (a total of 9 years in three separate tours) at Group/Station Humboldt Bay and spent a lot of THAT time on the 44's either fixing the electronics or going out on them with the station guys. They threatened to make me a surfman.. ha..
