Ha.. having lived in California, Mississippi, New York, New Jersey, and born in Massachusetts, you can well imagine what I can come with sometimes..
Dudes.. Youse guys are wicked funny, y'all!!!
Hey Bill, a guy I work with has one. He claims that it is stable enough for a rookie to "fly" it and mount a camera to take some pretty stable pictures. I've yet to see any of them, though.

They don't use ''ya'll'' in the midwest, that's a southern thing.

nice,
one post about the original question, and umpteen about the proper plural of the word you.
I have not seen it, but it looks very interesting. But i don't like the reviews it's given on Amazon about being too fragile, especially the electronic components.</p>

Hey, it's a slow day. Look at the top 3 topics right now that are at the top of this "Beginner's forum".
Letters to Santa
Have y'all seen this?
and I think this is kind of funny
Any one mention airplanes or models? No surprise the people who jump in are ready to talk about other stuff.
anyway........
Yeah.... the reviews mention fragile, but how many describe breakage? Of course, any thing that breaks on such an expensive thing is going to be a killer. And not much looks fixable. I'd guess it'd be like a helicopter. You fix model airplanes with glue and balsa. You fix a helicopter with money.
Would you really want to pay that much for something that does what, eh?

which is where I was born. Yeah, I just thought the video portion was pretty cool. But I can hardly use a key board, which is obvious by my posts, can't imagine controlling something with an I phone!

It seems to be a slow week period!! When I first logged in this AM, there was nothing new from last evening and early this AM. And now, heck, here it is, three hours later, and still nothing new posted.
I seem to recall it was slow like this last year too. Comes with the season and the outside weather. Even Florida is suffering like the rest of us.. in the cold.
But, Bill, the one that my friend has is not controlled by the ipod. That must be something new.

I wouldn't trust a wi-fi connection with something that expensive that could fly away.
I seem to recall something similar about a year or so ago that was autonomous, and very cool! Now I'd pay 299 for that!

Around here, in what Ilike to think of as the redneck region of CA, "all y'all" would be used to convey serious intent.
Example: "All y'all better git outta here cause yer fixin to git a serious whoopin".

Picked up a southern accent while going down to Texas for business. The boys said they used to count the number of times I said "Eh".
Ya'll welcome, eh!
