I need a little advise on the Giant Stik that I have been seeing in some website. They are offering the Giant Big Stik ARF 1.20-35cc, thats the plane and engine for 431.00. Is this a price steal????

It's the retail price. It's about what you will pay for a comparable plane no matter where you go.

Giant Big Stik retails on Towerhobbies for $280. So they are throwing in a 35cc engine for about $151. Seems like a pretty good deal if it's a good engine. Talk them down to $400 and pull the trigger.


PS...Stiks are awesome. I guarantee you'll love it. I fly my 60 sized stik in winds that has everyone else grounded. You can probably fly that giant stik in a hurricane and come out okay.

I have one with an MT35cc on it and it flys real good, When you drop the flaps on it it will nose up on you so be ready with some down trim also get some expoy around the fire wall. Also if you fly off grass get bigger wheels thats all the thing I can think of that I did it is big in the air and looks like it is moving slow dont be fooled by that Its fun to fly and easy to land michael

I'm getting all excited just ready your messages. I didn't know it could sustain windy condition. Thanks for all the info now I need to look in the the MT35cc engine. I had my eye on the O.S. 160FX Ringed engine for you Stik.

I'm sure I'm missing something but I didn't see anything about the plane with an engine?? Senior moment? Senior eye sight? What 35cc engine is supposed to come with the plane?

I'm with you Gene. Looks like it says size 120 - 35cc. In the description it does not say anything about coming with an engine. but again, I also have some senior moments, probably longer than moments.

Well Gene, these moments seem to just keep lasting?? Kind of an all day thing. I read it as 1.20 glow to a 35cc gas engine?? When I was looking at the planes that were posted, in my minds eye it was screaming DLE 30 to me?? The engine from Hobby King is around $300.00 but it goes on and off sale. Express shipping is under $30.00 and well worth it.
OK, here goes, Yesterday and today it was 75!!!! Come on, it's even Janurary in Vegas!!! Just feels like March!

So I'm assuming the price includes an engine. If not and that is the price for the airframe only, then run away. Quickly.
