GUys,
I have a brand new TURNIGY G110 Motor here. IM happy because it would be a direct swap out for my 110 4 stroke motor. where I live its hard to get help running the nitro motor.
My things is this... the motor came with a mounting bracket but it didnt include posts?
where would I find the 'posts kits' to get this motor installed? more likely where would I find some that fit it?
It has this X shaped bracket thing but it looks like it goes on the front of the motor...
any help is awesome!
heres the motor link...

Hope to get my Cub running soon!
Cheers!

You go to Lowes/Home Depot/ etc.
Pick up 4 blind nuts and bolts long enough for what you need, then grab some nylon spacers like the ones on this page.

They come in different diameters and lengths so you just grab what you need. Bolts go through your X mount on the motor, then through the nylon spacers, and into the blind nuts.

The X mount goes on the end where the shaft is sticking out. The prop adaptor on the other. You can usually find plastic spacers at Home Depot or Lowes depending on the length you need for the mount.

Thanks for the diagram and the photo...
I see how yours mounts to the back of the motor... My motor X mount goes on the front of the motor... So the motor would turn inside the post area...?
Thats what Im concerned about.

You could try using one of theses too: [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLCL5&P=ML]Electric motor mount[/link]
I bought one for my .60 size At-6 and it was a snap to install. Make sure your X mount will line up with the mounts holes, on mine i had to elongate one of the predrilled holes to make mine fit.

Of all the things I ever lost....................................... I miss my mind the most!
Edit: I was mistaken on mine, I did not use the X mount at all..just bolted the motor directly too the electric motor mount itself....sorry for the confusion

I see how that is in the picture from your link. The whole outside of that motor casing turns, so it looks like you would have a gizmo that goes on the side without a shaft that bolts on to that part of the motor, and then the prop to that. So, the body sticks out as my diagram and the picture shows, and it would bolt with that shaft pointing in toward the firewall.
Did the motor come with that sort of prop mount?

CGr & Aeronautic,
Yeah guys I opted for that mount. Looks like mine might fit. If not I can probably return it to tower hobbies. I also ordered a 17inch prop for it. Hope this works out!

I take my hat off to ya. This is one awsome motor and I imagine that your cub is pretty awsome too. I don't have anything electric anywhere near as large as that motor can propel along, so good luck to you and I hope everything works out for you.
