Default Charger

Got a battery charger question...I have a Nexstar Select .46 trainer and I need a good charger. I don't want to be cheap but I don't want to spend a fortune either. What's a good charger that would help me maintain my batteries that won't be overly expensive? I was looking at a Triton EQ but wouldn't mind finding one a bit cheaper...I just don't know what to look for as far as features etc.

I guess I don't need all the bells and whistles. I would like to be able to charge/discharge the nicad tx and rx batteries as well as NiMh.

If you don't ever plan to use Lipo's check out the classifieds. Quality Nixx only chargers go really cheap now.

I bought a Thunder AC 6. Was about $45. Nice thing is it is AC/DC. Also if you move to another type of battery, it will do them all, including A123.
The one bad thing is the manual. It is in Chinese-English.

I have two of the Supermates. They work well. I have compared them with my TrittonII, they seem to be with in a couple of miliamps of each other.

I reworked a PC power supply for 12v so I can charge at my bench. Took me about 15 minutes. I have done (4) PC power supplies now.

These people have good things. You should look at what they offer before buying a charger. All fliers need to know about them.
