Default Advanced Trainer or Tame Acro?

I am getting ready to pick up my first (in quite some time) airplane and I dont want an incredibly tame...A.K.A. Lame trainer....I would like an intermediate aircraft that can be forgiving in the beginning and as I progress I can have some fun with. I fly Heli's now and have too many hrs on G2 to even think about just messing around...not to mention that the club im in has more plane fliers then heli so I can get some help there....just looking for suggestions in the 40~50 size range and probably an ARF for now...want to do scale later on....

Thanks for the input..

I think you'd like, and could handle, the Great Planes Super Sportster. I had one years agao, and just finished putting my second one together. (An ARF.)
