Default Picked up my plane tonight!

I have no idea what it is but the radio's gold tag says 12/92. I have no reason to believe they were not purchased together. Can anyone identify it? Just curious. 48" span Magnum 25 motor.

Looks like one of the "Stiks" to me. (Das Ugly Stik?)

looks to me to be close to the Goldberg Jr. Falcon or possibly a clone.

I can't tell if the horizontal stab is flat or has ribs in it. I was going to guess Falcon 56 by the shape of the wing and fuse, but that had ribs in the tail and this doesn't. Might be a clone as stated. There were a few.

Ditto, except for the flat nose, it's a dead ringer for a Falcon (BTW, The Falcon is an excellent plane )

At a 48 inch span its not a Falcon 56 (the 56 was the span) but can,t remember the size of the Jr except that they frequently flown with rudder only or rudder/elevator and old cross ported .15, 19's .

Thanks Shutter its always fun dusting off old memorys.

Thanks for the input. It looked like a Falcon to me too. MY only reservation was the size. The horizontal stab is flat. No ribs at all. I just put it on the charger and hope to start it tomorrow night.

Speaking of charging, the manual say to charge and discharge 2-3 times before using the radio to bring the batteries up to full capacity. How do you discharge the batteries other than just letting them wear down? I remember my car charger haing a discharge funtion but this is a simple wall charger.

Better to ask that question in the batteries forum.
