Default battery

Just getting back into the hobby and building a sig 4 star 60 and dynaflight super decathlon .
Looking for batteries
what should i do ?
nicad ? cant find any large cap. on tower

The hobbico nimh batteries are good batteries. They are a bit more sensitive to overcharge then nicd and self discharge a bit faster. However they are higher capacity and work really well.

I like www.hangtimes.com. They use the best quality cells and good durable construction methods. Just make sure your charger is up to the task.

The new NiMH hybrid batteries have a very long shelf life unlike the originals. I buy mine custom made by our local Batteries Plus store. My last battery is a 2,700 Miah that I paid about $15.00 for.

Whoever the vendor is you are looking for Sanyo cells with welded construction. Everything else is gravy. The discount vendors generally skimp on one or the other.
